Terms and Conditions - Dog Home Boarding / Day care
NO DOG listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act will be accepted.
All dogs will be subject to an initial meet & greet by Nilz & Harley Pet Services prior to using any of it’s services.
All dogs attending Doggie Daycare will be subject to a further mandatory initial assessment/trial day by Nilz & Harley Pet Services prior to attending day care for the first time.
All dogs wishing to board overnight are required to complete a trial night (at normal charges) prior to their stay in order for Nilz & Harley Pet Services to accept the booking.
Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserves the right to refuse admission or end the stay of any dog deemed by us, to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous, disruptive, or highly anti-social and/or completely unmanageable in the home.
Although we carefully screen all applicants, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate service for every dog. Therefore Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserve the right to permanently remove a dog from it’s services at any time.
Nilz & Harley Pet Services is a place where dogs socialise in a group, and although all dog play is carefully monitored, all owners accept that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain minor injuries.
Whilst every care is taken to make your dogs stay at Nilz & Harley Pet Services a happy and enjoyable one, please note that all dogs are left at their owners risk and no responsibility can be accepted for sickness, injury or demise of the dog.
Nilz & Harley Pet Services expect total honesty regarding your dog’s behaviour before your dog’s stay. All owners must declare any behavioural issues that could endanger other dogs under our care. Failure to do so could lead to cancellation of your dog’s stay with no refunds.
The person you name as your Emergency Contact should be someone that is in the UK at the time of your dog’s stay with us, aged over 18 and someone you trust to take full responsibility for your dog’s welfare in the event of an incident of any kind preventing your dog from completing its stay with us. This would include them arranging alternative accommodation for your dog(s) if necessary.
All owners agree to their dog(s) being photographed or videoed and these being used in any social media or advertising by Nilz & Harley Pet Services. All such media remains the property of Nilz & Harley Pet Services.
Please ensure there is enough food for the duration of your dog’s stay. Alternatively we can recommend a suitable food for your dog from the Husse Dog food range at your own cost.
Medication / Immunisations / Vaccinations
No dog will be accepted without a current up to date vaccination certificate, including Kennel Cough and your dog must be up to date with Flea & Worm treatment. A copy of the vaccination card is required.
The Client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious or otherwise communicable diseases.
The Client further agrees to notify Nilz & Harley Pet Services immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions that their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to; Hepatitis, Kennel Cough, Corona Virus, Worms, Lyme Disease, Fleas, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites. Nilz & Harley Pet Services reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
The Client gives consent to Nilz & Harley Pet Services to consult a veterinary surgeon should they, in their reasonable opinion, consider it necessary. The primary care vet that will be consulted is the Fairfield Veterinary Centre in Hinckley. Should your dog require veterinary attention during its stay this is the veterinary practice that your dog shall go to unless you specifically state otherwise.
The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment for any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of Nilz & Harley Pet Services; together with any associated costs e.g. call- out charges.
The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. The Client agrees that they will not hold Nilz & Harley Pet Services responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while taking part in any services offered by Nilz & Harley Pet Services.
Bookings & Cancellations
Please ensure you check your dates carefully. Once your booking dates have been confirmed we cannot guarantee any changes will be able to be accommodated.
In order to secure a home boarding booking a 50% deposit will be required after a trial night is completed and the remaining payment will be due a week before the the start of your dog’s stay.
Our preferred payment method is Bank Transfer
Any cancellations less than two weeks prior to commencement of board, the client is liable to pay the invoice in full.
Damage of Property / Personal Belongings
Any damages caused by your dog to Nilz & Harley Pet Services home or possessions other than reasonable wear and tear will be paid for by you on your return.
Terms & Conditions - Products
These terms and conditions are relevant once a product is ordered from Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd (‘us’) by the consumer (‘you’) direct via this website, telephone orders (including via text messages) and facebook orders.

By purchasing direct from Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd from our website, telephone orders or facebook orders, you the consumer are bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time but you will be bound by the content published on the date that products are purchased. You are advised to check prior to each order made, to ensure that you fully understand the precise terms. To aid you in determining whether the terms and conditions have changed since your previous purchase we will clearly display the most recently updated date, at the base of the terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
We will confirm your order placed on nilzandharleypetservices.com / direct. You will receive either a message on the website immediately after you have confirmed your order, or by us sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided us with. At the point of acceptance the purchase contract will be made and we will supply the goods to you in accordance with your order and these terms and conditions. For cancellation or returns, please refer to detail from our Cancellations, Return & Refunds .
When you place your order you will receive a summary of that order on the website and by email. Neither of these constitute acceptance of the order and a contract for sale does not exist at this point.
A contract for sale becomes binding when we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. When this happens we will confirm the acceptance by sending you an email.
Orders & Methods of Payment
Our products can be ordered directly from our website or by placing an order over the telephone or via Facebook.
Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd uses Stripe Online Payments for Products, we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Stripe payments are currently supported on iOS and Android devices. Stripe has automatically implemented several layers of protection specifically designed for Web-based financial transactions. For instance, Stripe's client libraries and mobile API meet such industry standards as PCI-DSS requirements. Stripe is also certified as PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of security certification for the payment card industry.
Payments for all goods can be made by Debit Card or Credit Card using the secure payment gateway. If using a card you must be aged 18 years or over, with full authority to use it, to submit an order.
Payment will be taken from your card at the time of committing to your order.
All orders will be despatched by Royal Mail / My Hermes within 1-3 working days of Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd receiving and acknowledging your order. Delays may also arise if our usual delivery systems are disrupted or due to stock availability. Customers will always be notified by email of any delays.
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, please contact Nilz - email@example.com. Any orders that have not been despatched will be cancelled immediately and if payment has been made, a full refund will be given. Any orders that have already been despatched must be returned to us using our returns procedure as detailed below. Refunds will be given for the price of the product only, all delivery costs must be met by the purchaser.
We hope that you will be entirely satisfied with your purchase from Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd, but if for any reason you wish to return an item to us as faulty, damaged or unsatisfactory, please contact Nilz - firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that we can only accept returns that are agreed by us. Although our goods are checked and carefully packaged prior to leaving our premises, there may still be occasions when our products are damaged in transit. On those occasions, Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd will offer a full refund, including postage and delivery costs or issue you with a replacement product, providing the goods are returned back to us within 14 days of the date of receipt. In the unlikely event that goods are unsatisfactory, Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd will offer a full refund or issue you with a replacement product, providing the goods are returned back to us within 14 days of the date of receipt, with its original packaging and in perfect condition. Return postage costs must be met by the purchaser. All returned goods remain the responsibility of the purchaser until they are received by Nilz and Harley Pet Services Ltd. Once received, and checked, we will initiate the agreed refund/exchange for the value of the goods.
